The Gamewell 1100-0460 is a black, B-size INX transponder backbox with door for the Gamewell-FCI E3 Series fire alarm platform. It is a passive cabinet enclosure.
First, the backbox provides mounting points for E3 Series sub-assemblies and conduit access knockouts. Then, the door secures with a keylock and quarter-turn latch. As a result, the 1100-0460 forms a complete B-size INX cabinet for an audio transponder configuration.
Gamewell 1100-0460 Specifications
Dimensions are 19 3/8″ W × 19 3/8″ H × 4 1/2″ D (49 × 49 × 11.43 cm). The backbox is 16-gauge steel with a black powder-coat finish. Furthermore, the door includes a bonding strap for grounding continuity.
INX vs. Command Center Doors
The 1100-0460 ships as an INX (Audio Transponder) variant. Importantly, INX cabinets at sizes B, C, and D use louvered outer doors instead of Lexan® windows. This is necessary to ventilate the audio amplifier and transponder modules inside. As a result, installers expecting a Lexan window on this cabinet will find a louvered face plate instead.
Mounting and Configuration
Inside the B-size INX backbox, the installer can mount a PM-9 or PM-9G power supply (with the 90375 PM-9/PM-9G Adapter Plate Kit), an INI-VGX voice gateway, and up to four AM-50 Series amplifiers. The backbox also supports batteries set inside the enclosure.
