Mircom GR-MIR-H-37 Mircom-Format Proximity Card
The Mircom GR-MIR-H-37 is a 125 kHz proximity access card encoded with Mircom’s proprietary Wiegand format. First, the format prevents duplicate ID credentials in the field. As a result, security teams get higher assurance than the standard 26-bit format. Therefore Mircom requires custom sequencing and a facility code at ordering.
This card is built for the Mircom TX3 access control system. In addition, it works as a printable credential for dye sublimation imaging on both sides. However, sequencing details must be supplied at order time. The card is passive, so it carries no battery.
Mircom GR-MIR-H-37 physical specs
The card measures 3.4 × 2.1 × 0.046 inches (86 × 53 × 1.17 mm). Specifically, the thicker body suits dye sublimation imaging. Also, weight is 0.3 oz (9 g). The body is glossy white PVC.
Vertical and horizontal slot punch indicators are pre-marked on the card. Furthermore, the internal ID number is permanently printed on the back for inventory tracking. Finally, factory pre-punching is available on request.
Environment and warranty
Operating temperature is -35 °F to 122 °F (-37 °C to 50 °C). Humidity range is 0 to 95 % non-condensing. Therefore the card holds up across exterior portal use. In addition, Mircom backs the credential with a limited lifetime warranty.
