The Mircom TX3-P300-HA is a 125 kHz proximity card reader in a mini mullion form factor. It is part of the Mircom TX3 access-control platform.

The reader operates at 125 kHz and uses a Wiegand ABA Track II interface. Specifically, the housing measures 1.7″ W × 3.2″ H × 0.7″ D (43 × 81 × 18 mm) and weighs 3 oz (85 g). Also, the read range reaches up to 5 inches (126 mm).
Electrical and environmental
Input voltage is +5 to 16 VDC. Typical current draw is 30 mA at 12 VDC, with a 75 mA peak. In addition, the operating temperature range spans -40 °F to 149 °F (-40 °C to 65 °C). Therefore, the reader supports both indoor and outdoor installations.
The electronics are sealed in weather- and tamper-resistant epoxy potting. As a result, the unit carries an IP67 rating. Furthermore, it is certified to FCC, ICC, CE, and C-Tick standards.
Mounting and options
The mini mullion design fits metal door frames, window mullions, and flat surfaces. Also, a white snap-on cover ships with the standard black housing. An integrated beeper provides audio feedback on every read.
