The Fire-Lite ANN-80 is a remote LCD annunciator for fire alarm panels. It mirrors the host panel’s display at a remote location. As a result, staff read system status away from the main panel.
The backlit LCD shows 80 characters, arranged as 20 characters across four lines. Specifically, it displays device type, zone, and alarm, trouble, or supervisory status. In addition, it shows the custom labels programmed into the panel.
ANN-BUS Communication
The ANN-80 communicates over a two-wire ANN-BUS serial connection. Furthermore, two additional wires supply power. That power comes from the host panel or a remote UL-listed filtered supply. Also, up to eight ANN-80 units connect to one ANN-BUS.
Simple to Commission
The annunciator needs no programming, which saves commissioning time. In addition, onboard control switches allow remote operation of key system functions. However, a keyswitch blocks unauthorized use of those controls.
