Fire-Lite BG-12LOB Outdoor Manual Pull Station with Backbox
The Fire-Lite BG-12LOB is a non-coded, dual-action manual pull station for outdoor use. Importantly, it ships with the outdoor backbox included. First, a person pushes in the handle. Then they pull down to signal an alarm.
Outdoor-ready package
The BG-12LOB combines the outdoor pull station with an approved outdoor backbox and gasket. As a result, it arrives ready for outdoor installation. Therefore, you do not need to order a backbox separately. By contrast, the BG-12LO ships without the backbox.
Operation and construction
The dual-action design requires two deliberate steps, which reduces accidental alarms. In addition, a key-lock reset limits resets to authorized staff. The station provides an SPST normally open switch and screw terminals up to 12 AWG. Furthermore, no more than 5 lbs of pull force is needed, meeting ADA guidance. It is listed to UL 38 for manually actuated signaling boxes.
