The Fire-Lite MMF-302-6 is an addressable six-zone interface module. Specifically, it brings conventional two-wire detection zones onto a Fire-Lite addressable panel. As a result, one module reports up to six zones using a single address.
You can wire it as six Class B (Style B) zones or three Class A (Style D) zones. The module ships in the Class B position. Then, removing a shunt sets Class A operation.
How the Fire-Lite MMF-302-6 Reports
Each monitored zone connects to compatible two-wire smoke detectors or contact devices. In addition, an external power supply feeds the detector zones. Therefore, the module supervises both the zones and that supply. Also, onboard LEDs show which zone is active.
