The KIDDE COMMERCIAL FX-5RD is a 5-zone conventional fire alarm control panel with a factory-installed dual-line dialer. Specifically, it ships in a red enclosure with a 2-line LCD.
First, the panel hosts 5 Class B IDCs, or 1 Class A pair plus 3 Class B, or 2 Class A pairs plus 1 Class B. Then, it drives 2 Class B NACs or 1 Class A NAC. As a result, one platform fits small to mid-sized fire alarm jobs.
In addition, the FX-5RD includes a built-in DACT/modem for Contact ID or 4/2 reporting. Furthermore, an asynchronous serial bus supports listed remote annunciators and relay modules.
