The KIDDE COMMERCIAL SD-T78 is a 78-inch air sampling tube. It works with SuperDuct intelligent duct smoke detectors. Specifically, it draws duct air into the detector’s sensing chamber.
The tube installs inside HVAC ductwork. First, it spans the width of the duct. Then its inlet holes face the airstream. As a result, the detector receives a steady air sample. Therefore, smoke in moving air can be detected early.
