Notifier DVC-EM Digital Voice Command (Extended Memory)
The Notifier DVC-EM is the Extended Memory version of the ONYX Digital Voice Command. It serves as the core of a Notifier emergency communications system. Specifically, it combines a digital audio processor, a message generator, and an audio router. As a result, it manages live and pre-recorded emergency voice messages.
The Extended Memory model stores more audio. In addition, it holds up to 32 minutes of standard-quality audio. Alternatively, it stores up to 4 minutes of high-quality audio. Furthermore, it supports up to 1,000 user-defined audio sequences and tones.
How the Notifier DVC-EM works
The DVC-EM runs a dedicated Digital Audio Loop (DAL). Therefore, it controls and supervises up to 32 DAL devices. These include DAA2, DAX, and DAA series digital amplifiers. In addition, each DVC provides up to 8 channels of audio. It also provides 5 channels of firefighter telephone communication.
Compatible panels
The DVC-EM works with the Notifier NFS2-640 and NFS2-3030. Specifically, it adds one- or two-way emergency messaging plus paging. Also, it connects over twisted-pair wire media.
