The Wheelock ELSPSTWC-AL is an indoor high-fidelity ceiling speaker strobe. It comes from Eaton’s Eluxa notification line and uses a clear lens. Specifically, this model joins a high-fidelity speaker with a ceiling LED strobe. As a result, it delivers voice messages and visual alerts from the ceiling. The white housing carries ALERT lettering.
High-Fidelity Speaker
First, the speaker operates at 25 or 70 Vrms, selected in the field. In addition, it offers field-selectable taps from 1/8 watt to 2 watts. At 70 V, the top tap reaches 5 watts. The frequency response spans 300 to 8000 Hz. Therefore, voice and tone signals stay clear and intelligible. The speaker also outputs up to 87 dBA at 10 feet.
Ceiling Strobe Performance
The ceiling strobe offers six candela settings: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 177 cd. Installers set candela on site, so one model fits many layouts. Furthermore, the LED strobe flashes for 20 ms at one flash per second. The strobe runs on 24 VDC (16 to 33 VDC). This is an indoor appliance, rated 32°F to 122°F.
