The Bosch LVF-5005C-S0940 is a 5-megapixel varifocal CCTV camera lens. It fits CS-mount surveillance cameras with a 1/2.5-inch sensor. First, the 9-40 mm focal range gives a 4.4x optical zoom. As a result, installers fine-tune the field of view on site.

This lens opens to a bright f/1.5 aperture and stops down to f/8. In addition, its Super Resolution (SR) design improves sharpness and depth of field. The IR-corrected optics also hold focus between day and night. Therefore, megapixel images stay crisp across the zoom range.
Mounting and control
The lens uses a standard CS mount. Furthermore, a 4-pin SR-iris connector plugs into the camera’s iris output. Then the camera controls the iris automatically. Finally, Bosch backs the lens with a three-year limited warranty.
