The Macurco DVP-120 is a gas detection and ventilation control panel. It monitors gas levels and controls exhaust fans. As a result, it helps maintain safe air quality in enclosed spaces.
The panel works with Macurco gas transducers. Each transducer measures its target gas, such as CO, NO2, or combustibles. Then it sends that reading to the DVP-120 over a 4-20mA current loop.
How the Macurco DVP-120 Controls Ventilation
First, the DVP-120 accepts up to 12 gas sensor inputs in any combination. Therefore, one panel can cover a large area. In addition, it offers three SPDT (Form C) relays for fan control or alarm signaling.
These relays handle pilot-duty loads up to 10 amps at 240VAC. Also, the panel operates between 32°F and 104°F (0°C to 40°C). Specifically, it suits parking garages and similar ventilated spaces.
