The Edwards EC2-SB4 is a 4-inch standard detector base for the EC2 conventional series. First, it provides a secure mounting platform for EC2 smoke and heat detector heads. In addition, its four-terminal design simplifies wiring on conventional detection circuits.
The EC2 line uses interchangeable detector heads and bases. Therefore, the same base accepts compatible EC2 conventional detectors. As a result, installers can standardize bases and swap heads as needed.
