The Edwards EDGE-SLC-250 is a signaling line circuit (SLC) expansion module for EDGE Series panels. First, it adds one addressable loop to the system. As a result, the panel supports more detectors and modules.
Each EDGE loop supports up to 250 addressable devices. Specifically, that includes 125 detector addresses and 125 module addresses. Therefore, one EDGE-SLC-250 expands capacity by a full 250-device loop.
How the Edwards EDGE-SLC-250 expands a system
EDGE panels support up to four loops total. Therefore, designers add SLC modules as device counts grow. In addition, the module integrates directly with the EDGE control architecture for a clean install.
