The Mircom EL-7006 is a twin-spot LED emergency light with 180-minute battery backup. First, it carries two 1.2 W high-output SMD LED heads rated for 50,000 hours. Then a sealed NiCd battery sustains the light during a power loss. As a result, it covers egress corridors during sustained outages.

Universal input voltage spans 120-347 VAC. In addition, the conversion time to battery is under 0.2 seconds. Specifically, the unit includes overcharge and over-discharge protection on the NiCd pack. Therefore, the battery lasts through the expected service life with no field tuning.
Housing and rating
The housing is flame-rated thermoplastic with an IP20 rating. Also, the unit suits indoor wall- or ceiling-mount installs. Furthermore, it offers a test switch and a visible charge indicator. As a result, monthly NFPA 101 testing takes seconds at the unit.
Coverage and environment
Coverage is rated for roughly 80 m² (860 sq ft) per unit. However, the operating temperature range is 0-40°C (32-104°F). Finally, install per the included Mircom mounting hardware and local code.
