The Mircom EL-7030B is a universal-voltage LED emergency dual remote head. First, it accepts any 3.6-24 VDC input. Then two 1.5 W SMD LED heads light the path during an AC failure. As a result, the EL-7030B drops in on virtually any emergency lighting battery unit.
Mircom EL-7030B power and compatibility
Input voltage is 3.6-24 VDC universal. In addition, the EL-7030B has no internal battery. Therefore, it slaves to the building’s central battery unit, such as a Mircom EL-7061S or EL-7064S5.
Mounting and housing
The head mounts to wall or ceiling using the supplied hardware. Furthermore, the housing is injection-molded UL-94V-0 flame-rated ABS thermoplastic. Also, the head is fire-retardant for indoor installation.
Environment and rating
The IP class is IP20 with Insulation Class II. However, the operating range is 0-40°C (32-104°F). Coverage is rated for about 80 m² (860 sq ft) per head. Finally, the LED is rated at 50,000 hours and the unit carries a 3-year warranty.
