Farenhyt WIDP-HEAT-ROR Wireless Heat Detector
The Farenhyt WIDP-HEAT-ROR is an intelligent wireless heat detector for SWIFT systems. It combines rate-of-rise and fixed-temperature sensing. First, it reacts to a fast rise in temperature. Then it also alarms at a 135°F fixed threshold.
Wireless operation
The detector works with the WIDP-WGI SWIFT wireless gateway. Specifically, it communicates over a 902–928 MHz wireless mesh network. As a result, you avoid running detection wiring to the device. This helps in retrofits and hard-to-wire spaces.
Power and listing
The WIDP-HEAT-ROR runs on 3.3 VDC and draws about 210 µA. It uses four CR-123A batteries, which are included. In addition, the detector transmits a heat alarm per UL 521. Therefore, it meets the heat-detector standard for this device type.
