The Gamewell AOM-2SF is an addressable output signal module for fire alarm voice systems. First, it connects to a Gamewell-FCI addressable signaling line circuit. Then it controls a single-channel speaker circuit by address. As a result, the panel can switch audio to specific zones during an emergency.
Gamewell AOM-2SF in the system
Each module manages one speaker (audio) circuit. Furthermore, a single SLC supports up to 32 AOM-2SF modules. Therefore large buildings can divide voice notification into many addressable zones. This zoning helps direct messages floor by floor or area by area.
