The Gentex AVSM-R is a gangable synchronization control module with a red faceplate. First, it synchronizes multiple horns, strobes, and horn/strobes using only two wires. In addition, it operates one Class A circuit or two Class B circuits. Each circuit is rated at 3 amps.
How the Gentex AVSM-R works
The module runs on 12 or 24 VDC notification appliance circuits. As a result, strobes flash in unison across a space. Furthermore, the module can silence the horns while strobes keep flashing. A green LED indicates module operation. The backbox and coverplate are included.
Listings and compatibility
The AVSM-R is listed to ANSI/UL 464, ANSI/UL 1971, and CAN/ULC. However, it is not for use with the ST or HS Series appliances. Therefore, confirm your devices before ordering. Specifically, this red module suits notification circuits that require synchronized flash.
