The KIDDE COMMERCIAL EG4LFWF is a low-frequency wall horn for fire alarm systems. It is an audible-only Genesis G4LF appliance. Specifically, it produces a 520 Hz tone. As a result, it meets the low-frequency requirement for sleeping areas.

Low-frequency 520 Hz audio wakes sleeping occupants more effectively. Therefore, codes now require it in many sleeping rooms. The horn sounds in the standard 3-3 temporal pattern. In addition, it offers field-selectable high and low output settings. As a result, installers can tune volume to the space.
Design and listing
This appliance has a white housing with “FIRE” marking. It runs on 24 VDC. However, note that this model is a horn only. It does not include a strobe.
