The Kidde GSA-WTM is a combination waterflow and tamper module for VM and VS Series fire alarm panels. It monitors sprinkler and valve circuits. First, the module connects normally-open waterflow and tamper switches. As a result, the panel supervises the sprinkler system continuously.
Kidde GSA-WTM waterflow tamper module
The module provides two Class B initiating device circuits. Then, the first circuit latches as an alarm after a 16-second contact closure. This delay screens out brief surges from real waterflow events. In addition, the second circuit latches as a supervisory tamper signal.
Intelligent Signature Series device
The GSA-WTM is part of Kidde’s Signature Series intelligent platform. Also, electronic addressing removes switches and dials. The module further stores its serial number and history in non-volatile memory. Therefore, commissioning and maintenance stay simple. Finally, it works with Kidde VM and VS Series panels.
