The Mircom BPS-802 is a remote power supply for fire alarm notification circuits. Essentially, it boosts available power for NAC extensions. As a result, large systems gain the capacity they need.
This power supply works with 12VDC and 24VDC fire alarm control panels. Also, it suits buildings where panel power alone falls short. Therefore, integrators use it across multi-zone installations.
Mircom BPS-802 power output
The BPS-802 delivers up to 8 amps of total alarm current. Specifically, each output provides up to 2.5 amps. In addition, paralleling two outputs yields up to 4 amps on one circuit.
Furthermore, the unit runs on a 115VAC input. It also installs cleanly in electrical and telecom rooms.
