Mircom MRI-B224BI Isolator Detector Base
The Mircom MRI-B224BI is a 200 Series intelligent isolator detector base. It mounts a Mircom addressable detector and adds short-circuit isolation. As a result, one wiring short cannot disable the whole communication loop. Therefore, the rest of the loop keeps working.
This base isolates the shorted section automatically. Then it restores the full loop once the short is cleared. In addition, up to 25 addressable devices can sit between isolator bases. The base supports both Class A and Class B wiring.
