Notifier CAB-RM Remote Cabinet
The Notifier CAB-RM remote cabinet is a stand-alone black enclosure. It houses the RM-1SA remote microphone assembly. Specifically, it is part of the Notifier RM-1 Series remote microphone system. As a result, it supports remote fire alarm voice paging.
The RM-1 remote microphone provides a cost-effective paging interface. First, an operator presses the push-to-talk switch. Then the page broadcasts over selected speaker zones. In addition, Power and Trouble LEDs show the unit's status at a glance.
How the Notifier CAB-RM remote cabinet is used
Use the CAB-RM where a remote paging point is needed away from the main panel. For example, mount it at a lobby, security desk, or fire command station. Furthermore, the stand-alone cabinet gives the RM-1SA microphone a finished housing. Also, it keeps the remote microphone secure and serviceable.
Series and ordering notes
The CAB-RM is the black stand-alone cabinet in the RM-1 series. Notifier also offers the recessed CAB-RMR variant. Therefore, confirm whether your install needs a surface or recessed cabinet. In addition, the RM-1SA microphone assembly mounts inside this cabinet.
