Notifier FPC-951 Multi-Criteria Photoelectric/CO Detector
The Notifier FPC-951 is an intelligent, addressable multi-criteria detector. It combines photoelectric smoke sensing with carbon monoxide (CO) detection in one device. Specifically, it adds CO sensing to a photoelectric smoke detector. As a result, it broadens detection while helping reject false alarms.
This detector communicates on Notifier FlashScan addressable loops. In addition, each detector reports its own point ID to the panel. Therefore, the panel shows the exact device location for alarms and maintenance. Furthermore, you set the address with built-in rotary switches.
How the Notifier FPC-951 detects
First, the photoelectric chamber senses smoke particles. Then the electrochemical cell measures carbon monoxide. As a result, the detector responds to both smoke and CO from combustion. Also, multi-criteria sensing helps reject nuisance sources such as steam or dust.
