Notifier LDM-E32 Lamp Driver Module Expander
The Notifier LDM-E32 is a lamp driver module expander. It adds LED driver points to a Notifier LDM-32 lamp driver module. Specifically, it drives indicator LEDs on custom graphic and lamp annunciators. As a result, it expands the point count of an existing LDM-32.
Each LDM-E32 adds 32 drivers. In addition, you can configure those drivers two ways. First, use all 32 as alarm-only drivers. Alternatively, split them as 16 alarm, 16 trouble, and 16 switch inputs. This choice is field-selectable.
How the Notifier LDM-E32 expands the LDM-32
The base LDM-32 drives 32 LEDs on its own. Then each LDM-E32 drives 32 more. A 26-conductor ribbon cable links the expander to the LDM-32. Specifically, the ribbon carries power, ground, and signaling. Furthermore, one LDM-32 supports up to three LDM-E32 expanders in alarm/trouble mode.
