Notifier NBG-12 Dual-Action Manual Pull Station
The Notifier NBG-12 is a red dual-action manual fire alarm pull station. It is a non-coded, conventional pull station with screw-terminal connections. Specifically, the dual-action design needs two steps to activate. First, push the handle in. Then pull it down. As a result, accidental alarms are far less likely.
This station suits indoor commercial and institutional fire alarm systems. For example, use it in offices, schools, hospitals, and retail spaces. In addition, the molded handle includes Braille text and arrows for ADA accessibility. Therefore, it activates with no more than 5 pounds of force.
How the Notifier NBG-12 operates
First, push the handle inward, then pull down to latch the alarm switch. Then the word "ACTIVATED" appears at the top of the handle. As a result, the activated state is visible across the room. To reset, insert the key and turn a quarter turn. Furthermore, opening the cover returns the handle to normal.
