The Siemens OD-GP (500-633018) is an outer door grill plate for Siemens FireFinder XLS fire alarm enclosures. Specifically, it covers one full row on the outer door of a CAB series system cabinet. In addition, the plate carries four rows of ventilation louvers.
Siemens designed the OD-GP for mounting in front of heat-generating modules. For example, it sits in front of system bulk amplifiers and card amplifiers. As a result, the louvers permit airflow across those modules and aid heat dissipation. Each order includes a single grill plate.
