The Protectowire PM-3A is a double-loop pipe mounting strap for linear heat detection systems. First, it secures Protectowire linear heat detection cable to pipes and conduit. As a result, your detection cable stays firmly routed along the protected run.
Protectowire PM-3A Strap Construction
The strap is molded from black, weather-resistant 6/6 nylon. In addition, the nylon is UV stabilized for long-term durability. Therefore, it holds up well in both indoor and outdoor installations.
It also handles a wide temperature range. Specifically, the PM-3A is rated from -40°F (-40°C) to 185°F (85°C). As a result, it suits demanding mechanical, electrical, and HVAC spaces.
Fit and Installation
The double-loop design wraps around the pipe to hold the cable in place. Furthermore, it fits pipe diameters from 3/4" to 2". For best results, space the straps no more than 5 feet apart.
The PM-3A is compatible with all Protectowire linear heat detectors. Therefore, it works across a broad range of detection installations.
