The POTTER HS-24PWW is an outdoor 24 VDC horn/strobe with a fixed 75 cd strobe. It belongs to the Potter S/HS-WP Outdoor Series. In addition, the plain off-white face plate carries no markings. Therefore, the unit suits applications where “FIRE” lettering is not desired.
POTTER HS-24PWW Outdoor Construction
The HS-24PWW ships with the WPBB surface-mount back box. The clear Lexan® enclosure allows the full 75 cd strobe output. Also, the back box includes drain holes for outdoor moisture management. As a result, the appliance performs reliably in severe-weather and outdoor locations.
Furthermore, the Super-Slide® bracket lets installers pre-wire and supervision-test before mounting. The Checkmate® feature allows voltage measurement without removing the device. Specifically, technicians can verify line voltage drop right at the unit.
Tone, dBA, and Sync Options
Field DIP switches select Mechanical, 2400 Hz, Chime, or Whoop tone. In addition, switches choose Temporal 3 or Continuous output. Also, a High/Low dBA switch tunes sound output to the site. Strobes synchronize via Gentex protocol or the AVSM Sync Module.
