Potter Electric Signal (PSN-64) 6 amp 4 nac power supply

The Potter Electric Signal PSN-64 is a 6-amp conventional notification power supply with 4 NAC outputs. First, the unit accepts an activation signal from any UL 864 listed FACP. Then, it drives up to 6 amps of regulated 24 VDC notification power. As a result, integrators add NAC capacity to any conventional panel without changing the host.

Potter Electric Signal PSN-64 outputs

The PSN-64 has 4 notification outputs. Specifically, each output is rated 3 amps and may be used continuously without derating. Alternatively, integrators can configure up to three of the outputs as Class A Style Z circuits. In addition, each output is independently configurable via DIP switch.

Configuration options per output include constant power, ANSI Temporal Code 3, pass-through (input tracking), and Door Holder power. Furthermore, the Quadrasync feature synchronizes strobes from AMSECO, Gentex, Cooper/Wheelock, and System Sensor. Therefore, mixed-vendor strobes stay in cadence.

Inputs and trouble reporting

The PSN-64 accepts activation from any UL 864 listed FACP. Specifically, it supports single, multiple, or combo inputs. In addition, the panel includes two Trouble relays rated 5 A at 30 VDC. Specifically, one is general system trouble (with programmable AC delay) and the other is low AC with optional delay settings.

Each output has a status LED for diagnostics. Furthermore, a Trouble Memory feature stores past troubles for technician review. Also, status LEDs cover AC Power, Low Battery, Ground Fault, and Comm conditions.
