The Wheelock SBB-W backbox is a white surface-mount enclosure for indoor notification appliances. It provides a sturdy box where flush mounting is not practical. Specifically, it supports speakers, chimes, bells, and other electronic signaling devices. As a result, it simplifies surface installations in retrofit and new construction.
Wheelock SBB-W backbox compatibility
The SBB-W works with many Wheelock appliance families. For example, it fits the 43T, AMT, CH70, E70, ET70, and ET-1080 series. In addition, it supports the HS, HS4, MB, MT, NH, NS, and RSS series. Therefore, one backbox covers a wide range of devices.
Installation
Mount the SBB-W directly to a wall or ceiling surface. Then attach the compatible appliance to the box. Also, its white finish matches white notification devices for a clean look. Use it for indoor applications where surface mounting is required.
