The Edwards SIGA-AA30 is an intelligent 30-watt audio amplifier for Signature Series fire alarm systems. It powers emergency voice evacuation across commercial and institutional buildings. Specifically, it drives 25 or 70 VRMS speaker circuits during an alarm. As a result, occupants receive clear, intelligible voice notification.

Edwards SIGA-AA30 inputs and outputs

This amplifier accepts two riser inputs at 1 or 25 VRMS. Therefore, it can take a line-level signal or another amplifier’s 25 VRMS output. In addition, the output is field-selectable for 25 or 70 VRMS operation. The unit communicates with the panel over the Signature or GSA data circuit.

An onboard 1 kHz tone generator adds backup protection. Specifically, it activates if an input fails or no backup amplifier is available. Furthermore, the SIGA-AA30 mounts in 2-WB3(R), 2-WB7(R), or RACCR enclosures. It is UL Listed for fire alarm audio notification.
