The SigCom MNS-100EXP is a complete mass notification system housed in one wall-mounted panel. It broadcasts emergency voice messages and tones for fire, weather, and other critical events. Unlike an add-on module, this panel operates as a standalone emergency communications system. In fact, it connects to virtually any host fire alarm panel through a single NAC circuit.
A built-in digital message unit stores up to nine messages, with 6-1/2 minutes of total capacity. Also, messages can be recorded locally in the field. A 100 Watt Class D amplifier drives four supervised speaker circuits. Each circuit can be wired Class A or Class B. Furthermore, an optional MNS-8-ZONE card expands the panel to twelve speaker circuits.

Expansion Options
The MNS-100EXP accepts a range of option cards. For example, the MNS-8-INPUT card adds eight supervised contact-closure inputs. The MNS-3-REL card adds common alarm and trouble relays. In addition, the MNS-NAC-REL card provides two NAC outputs and six Form-C relays. Up to 15 MNS-LOC-R local operating consoles connect through an MNS-LOC-M master card. Finally, MNS-100APB audio power boosters add output power in 100 Watt steps.
