The Simplex 566-736 is a MapNet II transceiver and interface module. It connects the Simplex 4100-3102 fire alarm control panel to MAPNET II addressable field devices. As a result, the panel can poll detectors, modules, and control points over a single circuit.
Direct Replacement Board
The 566-736 is a direct replacement for the legacy 562-976 transceiver board. Therefore, it is the correct board-level upgrade for 4100-3102 systems. Genuine Simplex OEM construction also ensures reliable communication in life safety service.
Simplex 566-736 Capacity
This transceiver supports up to 127 addressable MAPNET II devices. In addition, it allows either Class A or Class B wiring. Each MAPNET II device presents a loading of about 1.7 mA. The module occupies two card slots in the panel.
Legacy System Support
MAPNET II is a legacy Simplex protocol. However, many 4100-3102 panels remain in active service. The 566-736 therefore keeps these systems running without a full panel replacement.
