The Silent Knight SKE-450ZN4 is a 50-watt voice evacuation system with a built-in four-zone splitter. It drives a 25 or 70.7 VRMS speaker circuit. Moreover, you can wire that circuit as Class A or Class B. As a result, it suits many commercial buildings.
First, the panel divides its amplifier output into four separate speaker outputs. In addition, each output can run as Class A or Class B. Furthermore, an All Call feature activates every zone at once. Therefore, it overrides the individual zone switches during an emergency.
What the Silent Knight SKE-450ZN4 includes
Inside, the unit combines a Digital Message Repeater, a power supply, and a supervised microphone. Also, it accepts two alarm inputs. Specifically, one input triggers on reverse polarity. The other triggers on a supervised dry contact.
For status, the front panel carries seven indicators. These cover Speaker Trouble, Alarm, Microphone Trouble, and Command 2 Trouble. In addition, they show Earth Ground Fault, Low Battery, and Power. Consequently, technicians read system health at a glance.
Field-programmable messages
You can program the audio messages in the field. First, record through the built-in microphone. Alternatively, feed audio through the line-level input. Finally, you can download messages over the internet. Thus, updates stay simple over the life of the system.
