The Wheelock SPB-80/4-B is a supervised audio power booster in a black enclosure. It adds 80 watts of supervised audio power for voice, messages, or background music. In addition, it supplies 4 amps of 24 VDC synchronized strobe power. As a result, it extends both audio and strobe capacity on SAFEPATH systems.
Wheelock SPB-80/4-B outputs and supervision
This booster uses one Class D amplifier board for its audio output. For strobes, it provides two supervised 2-amp Class B circuits. Specifically, each output is selectable for Wheelock sync, pass-through, or constant DC. Furthermore, Trouble and Alarm LEDs report open or short conditions.
Specifications
The SPB-80/4-B measures 21 by 16 by 6 inches and accepts 120 VAC, 60 Hz input. In addition, its audio performance includes a signal-to-noise ratio above 70 dB. Therefore, it delivers clear, supervised voice notification. The only difference from the SPB-80/4 is its black finish.
