The Space Age SSU-RIC-1 is a multi-voltage relay module in a NEMA 1 housing. It provides one SPDT (Form “C”) contact. The coil accepts 24VAC, 24VDC, or 120VAC. As a result, one part fits several control voltages.
Space Age SSU-RIC-1 relay features
First, the module mounts through a half-inch knockout. Specifically, push its self-clinching spud into a junction box. Then connect the 12-inch flying leads. In addition, the relay ships with wire-nuts to speed installation.
Also, a red LED lights when the coil is energized. Furthermore, the contacts switch 10 amps for general loads. This suits HVAC shutdown, door release, and auxiliary signaling.

Applications
Installers use the SSU-RIC-1 where a relay must mount directly to a box. For example, it can control fans, dampers, or signaling circuits. Finally, the spud mount removes the need for extra brackets.
