The Wheelock EL3RMTSTA-ALW is a NEMA 3R rated outdoor multi-tone horn strobe. It belongs to Eaton’s Eluxa weatherproof notification line. Specifically, this model joins a multi-tone horn with an amber-lens LED strobe. As a result, it provides audible and visual alerts in one unit. The white housing and amber lens suit private-mode and specialty signaling.
Weatherproof Design
First, the NEMA 3R / IP54 enclosure resists rain, sleet, and windblown dust. Therefore, it performs in covered outdoor and wet indoor areas. In addition, the unit operates from -40°F to 150°F. The UV-stabilized engineered plastic also resists sun fading.
Signaling Performance
The amber strobe offers six field-selectable candela settings: 15, 30, 75, 95, 150, and 177 cd. Installers set candela on site, so one model fits many layouts. Furthermore, the horn provides field-selectable tones. The appliance runs on 24 VDC, and the LED strobe flashes for 20 ms.
