The Wheelock EL4XMTSTB-NW is a NEMA 4X / IP66 rated outdoor multi-tone horn strobe. It comes from Eaton’s Eluxa weatherproof line and uses a blue lens. Specifically, this model pairs an eight-tone horn with a blue LED strobe. As a result, it supports color-coded mass notification in harsh environments. The white housing ships with no lettering.
Blue Strobe and Multi-Tone Audible
The blue strobe offers six field-selectable candela settings: 15, 30, 75, 95, 135, and 150 cd. Installers set candela on site, so one model fits many layouts. In addition, the horn provides eight selectable tones for flexible signaling. Furthermore, the LED strobe flashes for 20 ms at one flash per second. The appliance runs on 16 to 33 VDC or FWR.
Built for the Outdoors
First, the NEMA 4X / IP66 enclosure resists corrosion, dust, and water jets. Therefore, it performs from -40°F to 150°F. The white UV-stabilized housing also resists sun fading. It mounts on a wall or ceiling.
