The Wheelock ELSTW-AL is an indoor wall strobe from Eaton’s Eluxa notification line. It uses a clear LED lens in a low-profile white housing. Specifically, this model is a visual-only appliance for wall mounting. As a result, it provides high-intensity visual alerts indoors. The single-gang design carries ALERT lettering.
Strobe Performance
First, the Wheelock ELSTW-AL offers six field-selectable candela settings. These are 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, and 185 cd for wall mounting. Installers set candela on site, so one model fits many layouts. Furthermore, the LED strobe flashes for 20 ms at one flash per second. The strobe runs on 24 VDC (16 to 33 VDC).
Low-Profile Indoor Design
The compact housing measures 4.79 in. high by 2.76 in. wide by 1.18 in. deep. Therefore, it fits a standard single-gang box. In addition, it is an indoor appliance, rated 32°F to 122°F. The white UV-stabilized housing blends with most interiors.
