The Wheelock SP4Z-A/B speaker splitter expands audio zones for SAFEPATH emergency communication systems. It works with the SP40S, SP40/2, or audio boosters. Therefore it grows one zone into several supervised speaker zones.
Wheelock SP4Z-A/B speaker splitter zones
This splitter supports two configurations. Specifically, it provides up to 2 zones in Class A wiring. Alternatively, it provides up to 4 zones in Class B wiring. As a result, installers gain flexible zoning from a single source.
Supervision and design
The SP4Z-A/B keeps every speaker output supervised. In addition, its circuitry includes short-circuit protection. The module ships in a green housing for easy identification. Furthermore, it suits both new construction and retrofit voice-evacuation projects.
