The DSC EV-DW4917 is a 433 MHz wireless recessed door and window transmitter. Specifically, it hides inside a drilled hole in the frame. As a result, the contact stays invisible when the door is closed.
A reed sensor and a rare-earth magnet form the contact. Therefore, the transmitter signals the panel whenever the door or window opens.
Flexible DSC EV-DW4917 Installation
Access caps come flanged or non-flanged. Therefore, you can choose a screw-mount or a press-fit install. In addition, caps ship in white or brown to match the frame.
A flat-head screwdriver swaps the cap and reaches the battery. Also, a replaceable lithium battery powers the unit for long service.
