The Gamewell SLC-PM is an add-on signaling line circuit (SLC) module for Smart Loop Panels. First, it adds an SLC to a Gamewell-FCI Smart Loop Panel. Then it connects addressable devices to that new loop. As a result, the panel can support more detectors and modules.
Gamewell SLC-PM protocol and use
This module uses the System Sensor addressable protocol. Therefore it communicates with compatible addressable devices on the loop. Each device reports by individual address. Consequently, technicians can identify and locate devices precisely. The SLC-PM expands capacity without replacing the whole panel.
