The KIDDE COMMERCIAL MFC-A is a Multi-Function Cabinet for housing fire alarm accessory modules. Specifically, it is a red, surface-mount metal enclosure for the Kidde/Edwards F-series and FX-series ecosystem.
First, the MFC-A is the listed FA enclosure required by the FSRRM24 Remote Relay Module and the RPM Reverse Polarity Module. Then, it can also house other listed Kidde/Edwards modules using the optional FSRRM-S11 mounting track. Installation Notes
First, mount the MFC-A on a wall near the fire alarm control panel. Then, attach the FSRRM-S11 snap track inside the cabinet. In addition, snap accessory modules onto the track. However, observe the per-module quantity limits documented in each module’s installation sheet — for example, only 2 FSRRM24 modules per MFC-A.
