The Wheelock LSPKWC-N is a high-fidelity fire alarm speaker for indoor ceiling mounting. It is part of the Wheelock Exceder LED speaker series by Eaton. Notably, this version ships with no lettering on its white, round housing. As a result, it fits emergency communications, mass notification, and voice evacuation.
Wheelock LSPKWC-N audio performance
This speaker produces crisp, clear voice messages and tone signals. In addition, its wide 300 to 8000 Hz range supports strong intelligibility. The unit accepts both 25 and 70.7 VRMS audio inputs. Furthermore, you can set field-selectable power taps from 1/8 watt up to 2 watts. Therefore, output adjusts easily to each room.
Mounting and applications
The LSPKWC-N mounts semi-flush to a ceiling for a clean, low-profile look. Its round housing measures about 6.25 by 6.25 by 1.5 inches. Also, the plain face suits spaces where “FIRE” marking is not required. Install it in offices, schools, and healthcare buildings. The speaker is UL 1480 and ULC-S541 listed for fire protective signaling.
