The Mircom MIX-M500RAP is an intelligent relay control module. Specifically, it provides two isolated sets of Form-C contacts, wired as a DPDT switch. As a result, the panel can switch ancillary equipment by code command. In addition, a panel-controlled LED indicator confirms relay state at the device.

First, the module uses built-in rotary decade switches to set its address. Then, in Advanced Protocol mode, the address range covers 01 through 159. In CLIP mode, the range is 01 through 99. Furthermore, AP devices support up to 318 points per SLC circuit. Therefore, the MIX-M500RAP scales well in larger intelligent systems.
Wiring and mounting
The module mounts directly to a 4-inch square electrical box. In addition, the box must have a minimum depth of 2-1/8 inches. As a result, installation uses standard rough-in hardware. Also note: relay contact circuits are not supervised by the module itself.
