The Edwards SIGA-COD is an intelligent carbon monoxide detector for Signature Series fire alarm systems. It uses advanced electrochemical CO sensing for reliable, real-time monitoring. Specifically, an onboard microprocessor analyzes sensor readings over time. As a result, digital filtering helps virtually eliminate unwanted alarms.
Edwards SIGA-COD sensing and reporting
This detector is an addressable device on the Signature loop. Therefore, it reports its exact location to the control panel. In addition, continuous self-diagnostics store maintenance data in non-volatile memory. The CO sensor carries a 10-year service life. When the cell nears end of life, the detector signals a trouble condition.
