The SigCom DAPB-100 is a distributed audio power booster for voice evacuation systems. It adds 100 watts of audio output power to a new or existing system. Notably, it works with any manufacturer’s voice evacuation control panel, including SigCom’s own VECP series.
Each DAPB-100 also adds four supervised speaker circuits. The circuits run at 25 Vrms and can be wired Class A or Class B. Alternatively, 70 Vrms operation is available by adding a supplemental transformer.
Where the SigCom DAPB-100 fits
The booster is a self-contained appliance. Install it near the voice panel, or place it remotely where the power is needed. As a result, long speaker-circuit wire runs shrink, and wiring demands on the voice system drop. For larger jobs, multiple DAPB-100 boosters can be connected together for more audio power.
