The Silent Knight 6820 is an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel. Specifically, it is the 1,110-point FACP in the Silent Knight 6000 series. As a result, it covers small jobs at base capacity and scales up to large multi-loop installations on a single panel.

- One built-in SLC, expandable with three additional SLCs for full SK capacity

- One SLC supports 159 SK detectors plus 159 SK modules, or 127 SD-protocol devices

- Built-in dual-technology digital alarm communicator (DACT): IP and POTS
- Optional cellular reporting
- Six onboard Flexput circuits, each configurable as notification or auxiliary power
- Networking link supports up to 17 panels over copper or fiber
Positioning
The 6820 replaces the legacy Silent Knight 5820XL platform. Therefore, sites running 5820XL panels typically migrate to the 6820 for higher point count, native IP reporting, and Flexput flexibility. For voice-evacuation projects, see the related 6820EVS variant.
Before ordering
Confirm whether the job needs SK or SD device protocol. Then, count SLCs required for the device load. Also verify whether IP and POTS dial-up paths are both available at the site, since the DACT is dual-technology.
